All the studios in Casa d’Arriba Guest House reflect the warm hospitality of the owners and the simplicity of the Guest House. The building consists of 3 studios with independent verandas overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. All accommodations have private bathroom, their own kitchenette, refrigerator, freezer, central heating, Cable TV, DVD and WiFi internet access.
This is the much brighter studio due to the white ceiling and the big window. The double bed is placed right in front of the window that gives a feeling of being in a boat (without the movement)
Two storey studio. The room is upstairs in an mezzanine and has a very rustic look due to the walls made out of fossilized rock with musells clams and other sea animals.

"Casa d'Arriba Guest House” is an eighteenth century house that was restored in 2003 respecting the old building while introducing new modern and comfortable elements. Superbly located in the West coast of Portugal is an excellent choice of lodging for visitors seeking peaceful and simple accommodation. It lies only 80 km from Lisbon and 7 km from Peniche on the top of the cliff in a small vacation resort named Consolacao well none by its medicinal rocks and its fine white sandy beach where the famous Supertubos surf spot is located. Its location is also privileged by the amount of historical sites and monuments in a short distance (Obidos, Alcobaça, Batalha, Fatima etc.).
Surfing is also a privilege in our area. Peniche is rightly named the Surf capital of Portugal with splendid spots to practice this sport with waves almost every day and off shore winds for experienced surfers or beginners. We have an exclusive surf school with classes for a maximum of 6 students which allows very individualized classes for children and adults with very little practice. We also rent surf boards and wetsuits.
Consolação has few bars and restaurants that offer freshly made snacks, locally caught fish and a variety of beverages. Peniche, is just 7km (10 minutes drive) from Consolação and offers many restaurants with fantastic food with the best meat, fish and wine Portugal has to offer.
There is a multi-bank ATM machine at the end of the avenue in Consolação (Sporting Club da Estrada) full Bank service is only possible in Peniche.
There are 2 small supermarkets just around the corner from Casa d’Arriba and a market every day in the summer with fresh fish and vegetables mostly grown around the village, larger Supermarkets are in nearby Peniche and a daily market (except on Mondays) .
The nearby city of Peniche has a hospital and pharmacies open until late at night. .
